Hon. Benjamin P. O’Glasser is a referee and judge pro tem for the 4th Judicial District Circuit Court of Oregon in Multnomah County. He joined the bench in 2021.
His docket have included traffic, small claims, and misdemeanor arraignments.
Prior to joining the bench, O’Glasser was a shareholder at Bullard Law, having been named to the position in 2017. He joined the firm in 2014. While there, O’Glasser represented public and private sector employers in employment, labor, and benefits law matters. He conducted both litigation and advice counseling.
Before that, he was an attorney at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP (2012 to 2014) and worked as a deputy district attorney for five years with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office (2007 to 2012).
O’Glasser received a bachelor’s degree in law, letters, and society from the University of Chicago in 2004. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2007. O’Glasser was admitted to practice in Oregon (2007) and Washington (2013).
His memberships have included the Owen M. Panner American Inn of Court (vice president). O’Glasser has served as a volunteer with the Classroom Law Project since 2007, including as a coach and judge.
He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2015).
