The Hon. Bobbi B. Weiler is a judge for the North Dakota South Central Judicial District. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Doug Burgum on February 14, 2020, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Gail Hagerty.
The South Central Judicial District includes Burleigh County, Emmons County, Grant County, McLean County, Mercer County, Morton County, Oliver County, Sioux County, and Sheridan County.
Prior to her appointment, Weiler was a partner at Jackson, Thomason & Weiler, a law firm based in Bismarck. She specialized in family law and criminal law, representing clients struggling with financial, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.
Weiler earned a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Mary in 2005. She then completed a J.D. at Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009. As a law student, she was editor-in-chief of the WMU-Cooley Law Review.
She was born in Lewistown, Montana.
