The Hon. Clinton D. McGue is a judge for the Northern Department of the Lonoke County District Court in Arkansas. He was elected to the bench on November 8, 2016.
McGue earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. He then completed a J.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1994. As a law student, McGue worked for David Pryor of the United States Senate.
After graduating from law school, McGue entered into private practice in Cabot. He worked in that capacity until his election to the bench, supplementing his practice with service as the City Attorney for the City of Ward.
His memberships have included the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Lonoke County Bar Association, the Arkansas City Attorney Association, the International Municipal Lawyers Association, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission. He also sat on the Board of the Cabot Housing Authority and the Advisory Board of the Community Bank of Cabot.
McGue was raised in Cabot, Arkansas.
