The Hon. Craig P. Henderson is a judge for the Mesa County Court in Colorado. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bill Owens in 2006.
Prior to his appointment, Henderson was a deputy district attorney for the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, a position to which he was named in 2002. Before that, he spent time as an attorney in private practice in Denver (2000 to 2001).
Henderson earned a bachelor’s degree in history from McPherson College in 1991. He then completed a J.D. at Washburn University School of Law in 1994. He is admitted to practice in Kansas (1994) and Colorado (1996).
After graduating from law school, Henderson began his legal career as an attorney in private practice in Wichita. He worked in that capacity until 1995, at which time he became a deputy district attorney for the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office (1996 to 1997) and the 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office (1998 to 1999).
Henderson was born and raised in Colorado.
