The Hon. David H. Foxman is a judge for the Volusia County Court in Florida. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Charlie Crist in 2007, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. Steve deLaroche.
Prior to his appointment, Foxman was a criminal defense attorney with the Whited Law Firm in Daytona Beach. Before that, he spent time as an assistant attorney general in the Florida Office of the Attorney General (1996 to 2002) and as an assistant state attorney in the Office of the State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit.
Foxman earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 1992. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, in 1995.
He is the son of the Hon. S. James Foxman (deceased), a former judge for the 7th Judicial Circuit Court.
