The Hon. Jacques H. Cabell is a magistrate for the Williamson County Juvenile Court in Tennessee. He was appointed to the bench in 2018.
Cabell earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in 2005. He subsequently enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed two deployments in the Middle East. He then worked as a court liaison (2010 to 2014) and investigator (2007 to 2010) for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services before completing a J.D. at Nashville School of Law in 2014.
After graduating from law school, Cabell entered into private practice, handling criminal defense and domestic relations matters as an associate at Kelli Haas & Associates. During his tenure there, he represented law enforcement officers through the Police Benevolent Association.
His memberships have included the Tennessee Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association.
Raised in Springfield, Tennessee, Cabell attended Springfield High School.
