Hon. Jason H. Lamb is a circuit judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. He was elected to the bench in 2018.
The 12th Judicial Circuit includes Audrain, Montgomery, and Warren Counties.
During his judicial tenure, Lamb has served as Presiding Judge of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court.
Prior to his election, he was Executive Director of the Missouri Office of Prosecuting Services, having held the position since 2009. Before that, Lamb was the Prosecuting Attorney in Audrain County (2003 to 2009) and in private practice at The Seigfreid Law Firm.
He received a B.A. in history from the University of Missouri in 1996. Lamb went on to complete a J.D. at Tulane University Law School in 1999. He was admitted to practice in Missouri (1999) and the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri.
After graduating from law school, he began his legal career as a clerk for the Hon. Duane Benton with the Supreme Court of Missouri (1999 to 2000).
Lamb sat on the Presiding Judge Executive Committee, the Trial Judge Education Committee, the Commission on Combatting Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence, the Criminal Justice Task Force, the Missouri Court Automation Committee, and the Missouri Bar Criminal Code Revision Sub-committee (co-chair).
He was a board member of the Missouri Association of Treatment Court Professionals and a past president of the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators.
At the time of his election, Lamb resided in Mexico, Missouri. Lamb and his wife, Vanessa, have two children. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He is registered as a Republican.
