The Hon. Jeffrey J. McKibben (Ret.) served as a judge for the Hardee County Court in the 10th Judicial Circuit of Florida. McKibben was elected to the bench in 2006. He retired at the conclusion of his term on January 8, 2019, and became a senior judge.
Prior to his election, McKibben worked as an attorney in private practice.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in 1971. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, in 1973.
McKibben was admitted to practice in Florida (1973) and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (1974).
His memberships have included the Kiwanis Club. He also sat as a member of the American Inn of Court's Professionalism and Bench Bar Committees.
He was born in Winter Haven, Florida.
