The Hon. Kimberly P. Massicotte is a judge for the Hartford Judicial District Superior Court in Connecticut. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Ned Lamont in 2021.
Massicotte has presided over criminal matters for the Hartford Judicial District Superior Court.
Prior to her appointment, Massicotte was Special Counsel for Opioid Litigation in the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, a position to which she was selected in 2019.
Massicotte earned a J.D. from Western New England University School of Law in 1988.
After graduating from law school, Massicotte began her legal career as an assistant attorney general for the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General. During that time, she litigated environmental cases, rising through the ranks to become the head of the Environment Department in 1997. Then, in 2015, she became an associate attorney general.
She was a resident of Burlington, Connecticut, at the time of her appointment.
