The Hon. Mike Greenwell is an associate judge for the 41st Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. He was elected to the bench on November 2, 2010, and re-elected in 2014 and 2018.
The 41st Judicial Circuit includes Shelby County and Macon County.
Prior to his appointment, Greenwell was a partner at Greenwell & Wilcox, a law firm located in Shelbina.
Greenwell earned a bachelor’s degree in general agriculture from Truman State University in 1983. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Dayton School of Law in 1986.
His memberships have included the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the 41st Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the Shelbina Town and Country Housing Association, the Shelbina Chamber of Commerce, the Shelbina Knights of Columbus, and the Shelbina Lions Club. He also sat on the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Born in Hannibal, Missouri, Greenwell attended South Shelby High School. He and his wife, Marcia, attend St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He is registered as a Democrat.
