Hon. Robert L. Herzfeld is a judge for the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of Arkansas in Saline County. He was elected to the bench in 2008.
Herzfeld hears probate, domestic, civil, and criminal cases. He has also served as the Administrative Judge for the 22nd Judicial District.
Prior to his election to the bench, Herzfeld was a managing partner at the Herzfeld Law Firm, P.A. (2007 to 2008). Before that, he spent three years as the Prosecuting Attorney in Saline County (2003 to 2006) and three years as a City Attorney (1999 to 2002).
Herzfeld received a bachelor’s degree in English and sociology from the University of Mississippi in 1993. He went on to complete a J.D. at Emory University School of Law in 1998.
After graduating from law school, Herzfeld began his legal career as a partner at Lovell, Nally, Herzfeld & Payne (1998 to 2002).
He was a president of the Drug Court Professionals of Arkansas and the founding president of Habitat for Humanity of Saline County. He also spent time as a youth football coach for the Future Panther Organization.
Herzfeld received the Moffett and Henderson Litigation Award in 1998.
He and his wife, Karma, have two sons.
