The Hon. Samantha Mobley is a judge for the Mecklenburg County District Court in the 26th Judicial District of North Carolina. She was elected to the bench in 2022.
Prior to her election, Mobley presided over traffic violations, civil disputes, landlord-tenant cases, involuntary commitments, emergency protective orders, and marriages as a magistrate for the 26th Judicial District since 2013.
She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Ursuline College. Mobley then completed a J.D. at the Charlotte School of Law.
She has served as a Truancy Court judge at a local Mecklenburg County public school.
Her memberships include the Mecklenburg County Bar, and she served as a volunteer for Veterans Bridge Home and Heal Charlotte.
Mobley was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is registered as a Democrat.
