Hon. Stephanie A. Casady is a judge for the Saline County District Court in Arkansas. She was elected to the bench in 2012.
Prior to her election, Casady had worked as a private practice attorney since 2006. During that time, she also served as a court-appointed attorney for abused and neglected children. Before entering private practice, Casady was a deputy prosecuting attorney with the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and a former attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
She received a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from the University of Central Arkansas. Casady went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Arkansas in 2000.
Casady made a bid for a seat on the Arkansas Court of Appeals in 2022, though she was defeated in the general election.
