The Hon. T. Lynn Williams is a judge for the 18th East Judicial Circuit Court in Arkansas. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Mike Huckabee in 2005.
Prior to his appointment, Williams was a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the 18th Circuit East, a position to which he was named in 2001.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1983.
After graduating from law school, Williams entered into private practice. He started as an attorney in the Williams Law Firm. He worked in that capacity until 1986, at which time he joined Hickam Williams & Farnell. Then, in 1992, he moved to Wood Smith Schnipper & Clay. During this time, he also sat as a special justice for the Arkansas Supreme Court (1998).
