The Hon. Wayne A. Christian (Ret.) served as a judge for the Bexar County Court at Law No. 6 in Texas. Christian was initially elected to the bench in 2010. He resigned at the conclusion of his term on December 31, 2022.
Christian earned a B.A. in economics from Trinity University in 1975. He then completed a J.D. at St. Mary's University School of Law in 1979.
After graduating from law school, Christian volunteered for active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He served as an Airborne Infantry as well as an officer in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps. At the end of his enlistment contract, Christian continued his military career as a Special Operations Legal Advisor in the Army Reserve. He was stationed in Panama, Thailand, and Afghanistan with the United States Army Special Forces. He concluded his service in 2006, having obtained the rank of colonel.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Christian graduated from Alamo Heights High School.
He is registered as a Republican.
