There is also no risk of prejudice to the parties. Indeed, fact discovery remains in its initial stages
and the current discovery end date is June 9, 2024, thereby permitting Defendants ample time to
complete discovery. Thus, there is no risk that the proposed amendment will cause undue delay.
Because motions for leave to amend pleadings are to be freely given in the interests of
justice at any stage of the proceedings, PVP respectfully requests that the Court grant its motion
for leave to file an amended complaint.
