Unit# 1 was traveling northbound on the Mall De Las Aguilas parking lot. Unit # 2 was stationary on the northside of the
Mall De Las Aguilas in a parking stall facin g north. Unit # 1 was traveling north and struck Unit # 2 from the rear and left the
area to an unknown location. While checki n security footage of the accident was able to observe the actions

On Saturday, February 13, 2021 at approximately 6:30 P.M., Police Officer
I Sergio A. Maldonado
Jr. was dispatched to 455S. Bibb Ave. (Mall De Las Aguilas) parking
lot in reference to an unconscious
male subject in a blue in color Chevrolet Tahoe.
Upon arrival, [witnessed the vehicle in question leaving the mall parking
lot and attempting to
park at297 S Bibb Ave. (AT&T parking lot.) made my way to the vehicle
l
location and exited my
assigned Unit #963 and spoke with a male subject later identifi
ed as Fernando Rodriguez. asked I
Rodriguez where he was coming from to which he stated, “From
over there,” pointing in the direction
of the mall. then asked Rodriguez if he was coming
l
from the mall to which he stated, “Yeah ljust
passed through there."
Rodn‘guez was asked if he had been involved in an
accident due to seeing minor damages to
his vehicle and he replied, “No." then inspected Rodriguez vehicle, a 2001

blue in color Chevrolet
Tahoe and noticed he had minor damages to the front right side of his vehicle. It was
later relayed
via radio that said blue Tahoe may have been involved in an acciden
t at the Mall De Las Aguilas at
445 S. Bibb Ave.
Rodriguez was released at the scene. Police Officer C. Tijen‘na
arrived at the scene of the
accident located at the Mall De Las Aguilas parking
lomgd advised me mall security had video
surveillance of the incident which displayed a blue ifl
filamgnwmle reviewing the footage |
recognized the vehicle that had fled the scene as
