COMES NOW, the Plaintiff, CARIBBEAN VILLAS CONDOMINIUM
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. (“Caribbean Villas” or “Plaintiff’), by and
through the undersigned counsel, and pursuant to Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.280(c), moves for a
protective order limiting the scope of any discovery and/or regarding depositions
requested by Merlin Law Group, PA (“Merlin”). As grounds of support thereof, Plaintiff
states the following:
Relevant Facts

1. This case arises from claim made by Plaintiffs to their insurance company
for damages sustained to their property. Plaintiff retained the Merlin law firm via a
contingency fee agreement.
