The Hon. Abigail A. Miller is a judge for the 31st Judicial District Court of Virginia. She was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly on July 29, 2022.
The 31st Judicial District encompasses Prince William County.
Prior to her election, Miller was a sole practitioner in her own private practice, a law firm she opened in 2015. In that capacity, she specialized in family, juvenile, and criminal cases.
Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in government and international politics from George Mason University in 2001. She then completed a J.D. at George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School, in 2004. She is licensed to practice in Virginia (2004), the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (2004), the District of Columbia (2005), and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
After graduating from law school, Miller entered into private practice, handling corporate and civil litigation matters in Fairfax and Washington. She worked in that capacity until 2008, at which time she joined the Manassas Law Group.
Raised in Woodbridge, Virginia, Miller attended Hylton High School.
