The Hon. Andrea E. Puppio is a judge for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Tom Wolf on September 22, 2020.
Prior to her appointment, Puppio served as a judge for the Delaware County Magisterial District Court in Springfield, a position to which she was appointed by former Governor Ed Rendell in 2002. During her tenure there, she presided over traffic hearings, truancy hearings, and criminal hearings. Before that, she worked as a litigation attorney in private practice as well as a law clerk for the Hon. Frank T. Hazel of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
Puppio earned a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. She then completed a J.D. at Villanova University, Charles Widger School of Law in 1993.
Her memberships have included the Court of Judicial Discipline, the Springfield Cares Coalition, and the Board of the Delaware County Magisterial District Judges Association (Vice President).
She is registered as a Republican.
