The Hon. Andrew L. Mandell (Ret.) served as an associate justice of the Fitchburg District Court in Massachusetts. Mandell was appointed to the bench by former Governor Paul Cellucci in 1999. He retired upon reaching the mandatory age of retirement in 2015.
Mandell earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 1968. He then completed a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1973.
After graduating from law school, Mandell entered into private practice, working as a partner at Fisher, Mandell & Fisher until his appointment to the bench. He specialized in criminal defense, personal injury, and domestic relations matters.
