Judge Angela Dow-Davis: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Hon. Angela Dow-Davis is a judge for the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected to the bench on November 4, 2014.

Dow-Davis has held an assignment in the Criminal Division.

Prior to her election, she was in private practice at McClure, McClure & Davis (2000 to 2013), where her practice focused on criminal defense.

Dow-Davis received a B.A. in economics from DePauw University in 1990. She went on to complete a J.D. at Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1995.

Dow-Davis sat on the board of the Forest-Manor Multi-Service Center, the Lake Kessler Wood Homeowners Association, Health Net, and the Health Net Foundation. She has also been involved with Soroptimist International and Operation Christmas Child.

Dow-Davis and her husband, Grover, have one son.

She is registered as a Democrat.
