Hon. Ann B. Hudson is a judge for the Cross County District Court in Arkansas.
She also presides over the St. Francis County District Court. Hudson was first elected to serve as a judge for the 1st Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court in 2008.
She has taught as an instructor at the University of Arkansas.
Hudson received a bachelor’s degree (1969) and a master’s degree (1971) in education from the University of Arkansas. She went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law in 1992. Hudson was admitted to practice in Arkansas in 1993.
Her memberships have included the Arkansas Pro Bono Partnership, the American Association for Justice, the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the St. Francis County Bar Association, and East Arkansas Legal (board member).
Hudson chaired the East Arkansas Community College Board and served on the Professional Advisory board for Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Arkansas Governor’s Council for Children with Learning Disabilities.
