Hon. Ashley Rahaman is a commissioner for the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. She was appointed to the bench by the Hon. Joseph C. Welty in February 2021.
During her tenure as a commissioner, Rahaman has held an assignment in the Family Court.
Prior to joining the bench, she spent the bulk of her legal career in private practice. During that time, Rahaman was an attorney in The Rahaman Law Firm PLLC (2019 to 2021, 2010 to 2012), the Stewart Law Group (2017 to 2019), DeShon Laraye Pullen PLLC (2014 to 2017), The Thompson Law Firm LLC (2012 to 2014), and Hernandez Family Law (2008 to 2010).
She received a B.A. in English literature from Pepperdine University in 2004. Rahaman went on to complete a J.D. at Washburn University School of Law in 2008.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section (past chair).
Rahaman grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended The Barstow School (2000).
