The Hon. Bill M. Mast is a judge for the Sandoval County Magistrate Court in New Mexico. He was elected to the bench in 2014 and re-elected in 2018 and 2022.
Prior to his election, Mast worked as an attorney in private practice in Bernalillo. He specialized in civil trial law and criminal defense matters, representing clients in both state and federal courts.
Mast earned a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University. He also completed a J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law.
He and his wife, Patricia Chavez, have one daughter. Patricia is the former Mayor of Bernalillo.
Mast is registered as a Democrat.
