The Hon. Bradley Allen is a judge for the Alamance County District Court in the 15A Judicial District of North Carolina. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jim Hunt in 2000.
Prior to his appointment, Allen was a chief assistant district attorney with the 15A Judicial District since 1997. He first joined the office as an assistant district attorney in 1989. Before that, Allen briefly worked in private practice (1988 to 1989).
He received a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. Allen then completed a J.D. at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, in 1988.
He was born and raised in Alamance County, where his father, Hon. J.B. Allen, presided as a resident superior court judge until retiring in 2010.
Allen is registered as a Democrat.
