Hon. Brice R. Sechrest is an associate circuit judge for the 24th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Mike Parson in 2021, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. Joseph L. Goff, Jr.
The 24th Judicial Circuit Court includes Madison, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, and Washington Counties.
Prior to his appointment, Sechrest was a partner at Williams & Sechrest, P.C. in Park Hills, where he practiced since 2009. At the firm, he handled bankruptcy, personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and estate planning matters. Before that, he was an associate in the Law Office of John M. Williams, P.C. (2009 to 2010) and the Law Office of Kenneth C. McManaman, LLC (2007 to 2009).
He received an A.A. from Mineral Area College (1999) and a B.S. in political science and mathematics from Southeast Missouri State University (2003). Sechrest went on to complete a J.D. at Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2007.
He was admitted to practice in Missouri (2007) and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
His memberships have included the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Sechrest was involved with the Ozarks Federal Savings & Loan Board of Directors, the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of St. Francois County.
