The Hon. C. Ashley Pike (Ret.) served as a judge for the General Division of the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. Pike initially joined the bench in 2001. He retired at the conclusion of his term in 2018 after losing his campaign for re-election.
Pike was instrumental in acquiring the former David Anderson High School and converting it into the county Juvenile Justice Center. He also played a key role in the renovation of the second-floor of the courthouse, the floor on which the courtrooms are located.
Prior to his appointment, Pike was a judge for the Probate & Juvenile Division of the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas, a position to which he was selected in 1991. Before that, he was a judge for the Columbiana County Court (1983 to 1988).
Pike earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster in 1972. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Akron School of Law in 1975.
After graduating from law school, Pike began his legal career as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office (1976) and an assistant public defender for the Columbiana County Public Defender's Office (1977 to 1979).
Raised in Columbiana County, Pike attended Lisbon High School, where he graduated in 1968.
He is registered as a Republican.
