The Hon. Charles D. Bridges is a judge for the Putnam County Superior Court in Indiana. He was elected to the bench in 2008 and re-elected in 2014 and 2020.
Prior to his election, Bridges was an attorney in private practice, where he specialized in family law and criminal law matters. He supplemented his practice with service as a public defender and an administrative law judge.
Bridges earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Concordia University. He spent the next several years working for the Indiana State Police, handling undercover and homicide investigations in Lake County before completing a J.D. at Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
His memberships have included the Putnam County Bar Association.
