The Hon. Connie C. Ramsey is an assistant judge for the Vermont Superior Court. She was elected to the bench in 2010.
Ramsey has held assignments in the Civil, Criminal, and Family Divisions in Chittenden County. Trained in Courtroom Ethics and Procedure by the State of Vermont, she earned the State Accreditation to Preside over Uncontested Divorces. Ramsey also received training from the National Judicial College on Civil Mediation and Judicial Decision Making.
Prior to her election, she worked in advertising (1988 to 2006).
An 8th-generation Vermonter, Ramsey has authored court-related articles for the “Courthouse Chronicles.” She resides in Chittenden County with her husband, Jack. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
Ramsey is registered as a Democrat.
