Hon. Courtney L. Dinnel is a judge for the Adams County Court in Colorado. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Jared Polis in 2021, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Michael A. Cox (Ret.).
Prior to her appointment, Dinnel managed her own private practice, Dinnel Law, LLC, since establishing the firm in 2020. She handled criminal defense and Guardian ad Litem matters.
Before that, Dinnel was an associate at Foster, Graham, Milstein & Calisher, LLP (2019 to 2020) and a former lead deputy state public defender with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender in Adams County (2010 to 2019).
She received a B.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004. Dinnel went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2010.
