Hon. Eamon P. Costello is a judge for the Madison County Court of Common Pleas (General and Domestic Relations Division) in Ohio. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor John Kasich in October 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Robert D. Nichols (Ret.).
Costello received a B.A. in political science from Wright State University. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Toledo College of Law.
Prior to his appointment, Costello had worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office since 1996. In addition, he served as the village solicitor for Plain City for two years beginning in 2011.
Shortly after graduating from law school, Costello began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Greene County Prosecutor’s office in 1994.
His memberships have included the National District Attorneys Association.
At the time of his appointment, Costello resided in Plain City with his wife and two children.
Costello is registered as a Republican.
