The Hon. Edward L. Larsen is a part-time general magistrate and hearing for the 20th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
The 20th Judicial Circuit includes Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, and Hendry Counties. Larsen has held an assignment as the Civil Traffic Hearing Officer in Glades County.
He has operated his own private practice, Edward L. Larsen, Esq., P.A., in Naples, where he handles business law, business litigation, commercial real estate, and health care matters. He was board certified in business litigation in 2014.
Larsen completed a J.D. at New York Law School (1987) and an LL.M. in taxation at Villanova University, Charles Widger School of Law.
He was admitted to practice in Florida in 2005, as well as the Florida Middle District Bankruptcy Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Court of International Trade, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
His memberships include the Business Law, Health Law, Tax, and Trial Lawyer Sections of The Florida Bar. Larsen also sat on the United Way of Collier County Board of Directors.
He is a veteran of the United States Navy.
