Hon. Frank John Andreou is an associate judge for the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. He was elected to the Circuit Court by the Cook County Circuit judges in 2019.
While on the bench, Andreou has held an assignment in the Second Municipal District of the Municipal Department.
He attended Purdue University, where he earned a B.A. in political science in 1992. Andreou then completed a J.D. at John Marshall Law School in 1995.
After law school, he joined the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he worked as an assistant state’s attorney for four years.
He left the public arena in 1999 to join Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered as an associate and remained with the firm until becoming an owner and partner at Andreou & Casson, Ltd. in 2002. He was serving in that capacity at the time of his election to the bench.
Andreou was an officer of the Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois and a member of the Northbrook School District 27 Board of Education, the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, and the Northbrook Economic Development Committee.
He is registered as a Democrat.
