Hon. Frank M. D’Addabbo, Jr. (Ret.) is a senior judge for the Hartford Judicial District Superior Court in Connecticut. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor John Rowland in 1996.
During his judicial tenure, D’Addabbo also presided as a judge for the New Britain Judicial District Superior Court in Connecticut.
Prior to beginning his judicial career, he worked as a deputy assistant state’s attorney for the Division of Criminal Justice in New Haven.
D’Addabbo received a bachelor’s degree from Providence College. He went on to complete a J.D. at Western New England University of School of Law in 1980. D’Addabbo was admitted to practice in Connecticut (1980) and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (1981).
After graduating from law school, he began his legal career as counsel for the Chief Court Administrator’s Office in Hartford.
D’Addabbo served as a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Executive Committee on Criminal Justice.
