Hon. Gary Link is a commissioner for the Sacramento County Superior Court in California.
Link received a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1979.
Prior to joining the bench, Link was an attorney at the Law Offices of Rosenberg & Link and had worked as a sole practitioner in his own private practice, the Law Office of Gary Link, since 1979. During his time in private practice, he gained experience in landlord/tenant law.
He also spent time as a pro-tem judge for the Sacramento County Small Claims Court.
Link has held memberships with the California Bar Association, the Sacramento County Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the California Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition, he sat as a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association’s Real Estate Section (officer) and Landlord/Tenant Section (co-chairman), as well as the Sacramento County Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission (commissioner) and the City of Sacramento Legal Advisory Task Force.
Link has served as a frequent panelist for Continuing Education of the Bar courses and has been a speaker at the McGeorge School of Law, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, the Rental Housing Association, the Sacramento Association of Realtors, and the Commercial Property Section.
He also taught as an instructor at the American River College and was a consulting attorney for “The Landlord Tenant Handbook.”
