Hon. Geoffrey Fish is a judge for the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jan Brewer in December 2010.
During his judicial tenure, Fish has held assignments in the Criminal and Family Courts.
Prior to his appointment, he had presided for two years as a commissioner of the Maricopa County Superior Court (2012 to 2014). Fink also spent time as a judge pro tempore of the court (2009 to 2012).
Before joining the bench, he was a partner and shareholder at Beresky & Fish, P.C. (2001 to 2012).
Over the course of his legal career, Fink spent time in both the private and public sectors. He became a deputy county attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in 1999 after practicing as a sole practitioner in his own private practice (1998 to 1999), a managing partner and shareholder at Savage, Fumo & Fish, Ltd. (1997 to 1998), and an associate at Craig K. Perry & Associates (1995 to 1996).
Fink received a B.A. in political science from the University of Arizona in 1993. He went on to complete a J.D. at Whittier Law School in 1996.
He was admitted to practice in Nevada (1996), Arizona (1997), the United States District Court for the District of Nevada (1997), and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona (2001).
