Hon. Gregory M. Snyder is a judge for the York County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in 1997.
During his judicial tenure, Snyder presided in the Criminal and Civil Court. He transitioned from the Criminal Court to the Civil Court at the end of 2014.
He received a B.A. from Dickinson College in 1975. Snyder went on to complete a J.D. at Valparaiso University School of Law in 1978.
Prior to his election, he was a partner in the law firm of Menges & Snyder, where he had practiced since 1981. In addition to his legal career, Snyder spent time in the political arena, acting as a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 94th District (1983 to 1992).
Snyder was born in York and graduated from York Suburban High School. He is married and has three children.
He is registered as a Republican.
