Hon. Hallie Gorman Campbell is a judge for the Tuolumne County Circuit Court in California. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Gavin Newson on October 7, 2022, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Donald Segerstrom, Jr. (Ret.).
Prior to her appointment, Gorman Campbell was a deputy public defender with the Tuolumne County Public Defender’s Office since 2011. Before that, she spent one year working for the California Parole Advocacy Program (2010 to 2011), where she held several positions.
Gorman Campbell received a bachelor’s degree in editing and publishing from California State University, Chico in 2004. She then worked in newspapers before completing a J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2010.
A native of California, Gorman Campbell has resided in Tuolumne County since 2011. Her husband, Ryan Campbell, is a Tuolumne County Supervisor.
Gorman Campbell is registered as a Democrat.
