The Hon. Jade M. Rosenfeldt is a judge for the 7th Judicial District Court of Minnesota. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Tim Walz on November 1, 2019.
The 7th Judicial District includes Becker County, Benton County, Clay County, Douglas County, Mille Lacs County, Morrison County, Otter Tail County, Stearns County, Todd County, and Wadena County.
Prior to her appointment, Rosenfeldt was a shareholder of the Vogel Law Firm, a practice she joined in 2008. During her tenure there, she handled a high volume of complex criminal and family law cases in Minnesota and North Dakota. Rosenfeldt also represented clients in real estate and planning and zoning matters, business litigation, expungement, implied consent, and orders for protection.
Rosenfeldt earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and social work from Concordia College in 2005. She then completed a J.D. at the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2008. As a law student, Rosenfeldt clerked with the Clay County Attorney’s Office (2006 to 2008).
Her memberships have included the Clay County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She has also been involved with the Clay County Library Board of Trustees, the Moorhead Rotary Club, and the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
