Biography

The Hon. Janet Hilde is a judge for the Plumas County Superior Court in California. She was elected to the bench in 2006.


Judge Hilde received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1976. She went on to earn her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1984.


Prior to being elected to the bench, Hilde had worked in private practice since 1988.


She served as a deputy county counsel with the Plumas County Counsel's Office before entering into private practice.
