The Hon. John O. Craig, III (Ret.) served as a judge for the Guilford County Superior Court in the 18th Judicial District of the 4th Division in North Carolina. Craig was appointed to the bench by former Governor Mike Easley on February 26, 2002. He retired in 2022.
Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Davidson College in 1978. He then completed a J.D. at the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1982.
After graduating from law school, Craig entered into private practice, working as an attorney at the Fisher Law Firm in High Point.
His memberships have included the North Carolina Bar Association, the High Point Bar Association, and the Guilford American Inns of Court.
Craig was raised in High Point, North Carolina. When not presiding over legal proceedings, he enjoys fishing, painting, traveling, and spending time with family.
