The Hon. Lawrence J. Fine is a judge for the Forsyth County District Court in the 21st Judicial District of North Carolina. He was initially elected to the bench in 2000 and re-elected in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.
Prior to his election, Fine spent eighteen years as an attorney in private practice.
Fine earned a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College (1977) and a master’s degree from Ohio University (1979). He then completed a J.D. at Wake Forest University School of Law in 1982.
He is registered as a Democrat.
