The Hon. Madeline Quirk (Ret.) served as an associate judge for the Rhode Island District Court. Quirk was appointed to the bench by former Governor Lincoln Almond in 1998. She retired on June 30, 2020.
Quirk earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College in 1976. She spent the next several years working as an investigator for the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General before completing a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1981.
After graduating from law school, Quirk joined the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General, where she served as a special assistant attorney general.
Quirk was born and raised in Rhode Island.
