The Hon. Michele L. Meyer is a judge for the Weld County Court in Colorado. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bill Ritter on September 19, 2007.
Prior to her appointment, Meyer worked for the 19th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. She started as a deputy district attorney in 1999, rising through the ranks to become a chief deputy district attorney.
Meyer earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.
Her memberships have included the Weld County Bar Association. She has also been involved with the mentorship program at the University of Northern Colorado, and she has volunteered for the Weld-Larimer County High School Mock Trial Competition.
