The Hon. Mona Lisa M. Andrews is a magistrate for the Florence County Summary Court in South Carolina.
The civil cases heard in magistrate court include eviction/notice to quit, summons and complaint lawsuits of $7500 or less, restraining orders, and claim and delivery actions. Magistrates also hear criminal and traffic cases, issue warrants and set bonds, and hold preliminary hearings and transfer cases for Florence County.
Andrews presides in the Johnsonville Summary Court.
She has also worked as a paralegal with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
Andrews received an associate’s degree in paralegal studies, a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Limestone University, and an M.P.A. from American University.
She has served as a trustee of the Florence School District 2 Board and the children’s ministry director at Millbranch African Methodist Episcopal Church.
