The Hon. Patrick M. Dandridge is a judge for Division XIV of the Shelby County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He was elected to the bench in 2018.
Dandridge, who holds an assignment in the Criminal Division of the General Sessions Court, also presides over the Shelby County Environmental Court since his appointment by the Shelby County Board of Commissioners in 2018. The Court hears cases involving properties that violate health, fire, building, zoning, and animal codes.
Prior to his election, Dandridge was an assistant city attorney for the City of Memphis for fifteen years. During that time, he was designated as the director of the City of Memphis Code Enforcement Department (2016 to 2018).
Dandridge earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University in 1987. He then completed a J.D. at Georgetown Law School (1991) and an M.B.A. from Christian Brothers University (2012). He was admitted to practice in Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
His memberships include the Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and National Bar Association, Ben F. Jones Chapter.
Dandridge was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended Central High School.
