The Hon. Paul E. Robertson is a magistrate for the Davidson County Juvenile Court in Tennessee. He was appointed to the bench in 2013.
Prior to his appointment, Robertson specialized in juvenile and domestic relations matters as an attorney in private practice. Before that, he spent thirty years in the banking and regulatory fields, some of which as the assistant deputy comptroller in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for the United States Department of the Treasury. In that capacity, he was responsible for the regulatory supervision of twenty-six nationally chartered community banks within five states.
Robertson earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University and a master’s degree from Louisiana State University, Graduate School of Banking. He then completed a J.D. at Nashville School of Law.
His memberships have included the Board of Directors of Traders National Bank.
He and his wife, Diane, have three children. The family attends First Baptist Church in Capitol Hill.
