The Hon. Ray Conkin is a judge for Division II of the Sullivan County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He was appointed to the bench by the Sullivan County Commission in 2011, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Duane S. Snodgrass.
Prior to his appointment, Conkin managed his own private practice, the Law Office of Ray Conkin, since 1992.
He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tennessee Tech University in 1989. Conkin then completed a J.D. at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, in 1992.
His memberships include the Kingsport Bar Association. Conkin is also a past president of the Sullivan Recreation Association and served two terms as a Sullivan County Commissioner.
