Hon. Robert W. Kiesnowski, Jr. is a judge for the 17th Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bill Ritter in 2011.
The 17th Judicial District includes Adams and Broomfield Counties.
His docket has included criminal and civil cases in Adams County and civil, domestic, and mental health cases in Broomfield County.
Kiesnowski, who spent the bulk of his legal career in private practice, was in-house counsel for the Denver Police Protective Association prior to his appointment to the bench.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Regis College in 1987. Kiesnowski went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1990.
